(Before It’s News)

This needs to go around and around and around until every one of the un-American politicians listed below has been removed from political office forever.  Don’t forget to vote!

HOORAY – 53-46 vote

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11: “CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION, DISARMAMENT —”
HOORAY – 53-46 vote – The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution.
This is that brief, glorious moment in history
when everyone stands around…reloading.
Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known !! See below . If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46 “legis..traitors”… vote against them.
In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.  The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:  “To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”  The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.  The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.

UN take OUR guns. They need to lose their next election.
We have been betrayed.
46 Senators Voted to Give your 2nd Amendment Constitutional Rights to the U.N.

Glenn Rhee

Resourceful and clever, Glenn made it out of Atlanta and came upon the group of survivors on the outer limits of the city. Due to his knack for scavenging, Glenn is often nominated to sneak into the city and find supplies. His use of MacGyver-like tactics to outsmart and kill zombies enabled him to successfully recover guns for Jim.[1] Not long after Shane died, Glenn developed a nascent crush on Maggie, but his shyness initially prevented him from acting on his feelings.

Imagine that, every single one of these traitors is a worthless democrat! Ohh and 1 independent. These morons just continue to hang themselves. I cannot wait till november!!!

    • Madley

Only a dumb POS would believe something written by a website called readychimp without doing further investigation.

      11. Calls for Member States to support weapons collection, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants, as well as physical security and stockpile management programmes by United Nations peacekeeping operations where so mandated;

      • Nick

Yeah, because every progressive agenda item is completely honest, turns out i can’t keep my doctor or my insurance if i liked them either.

      • Amber Settles

Madley, madley, madley…..are you launching insults while clarifying how bad that clause really is? Do you understand the words that are written before your eyes? “disarmament, demobilization, – stockpile management programmes….what about that sounds enticing to you? By the way – a peacekeeping operation is led by the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO), and works to create the conditions for lasting peace in a country torn by conflict. The only thing that America is conflicted about is getting the POS tyrant and his puppet-weasels the hell out of the white house. Stock pile bullets!!!!

      • Tincanman

Only a dumb POS would be willing to deal away our Constitutional Rights!

      • Chad Dolloff

You are the dumb POS trying to defend them. I don’t give a rats ass if they listed part of it wrong THE ENTIRE THING IS TREASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Goofy1954

Any treaty like this would also have to be ratified by the states if I am correct
    which would never happen

    • Madley

2/3rds of the Senate but this email is BS. Here’s item 11 in it’s entirety.

      11. Calls for Member States to support weapons collection, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants, as well as physical security and stockpile management programmes by United Nations peacekeeping operations where so mandated;

The only people that would be against this are international arms dealers, weapons manufactures, militias not affiliated with governments and terrorist groups and Republicans.

      • Nick

Don’t forget libertarians, we’re obviously crazy too. I don’t care what the statute said, the POTUS also said I could keep my doctor and insurance if i liked them, wasn’t able to do that so this is probably garbage too. And the way things are headed in this country with the NSA, IRS, and AP constitutional travesties, I am all in favor of non government affiliated militias, it may be the only option we have left.

      • cpt g

I am against this as are most true Americans….

        • cpt g

oh yea I am not a republican

  • Virginia Lindsey

If they are so set on this why can’t they be the one’s to come to the front door and ask for our weapons?

  • Jean Henri Laprime

Seems to have gone along party lines, with a few exceptions.

  • Robert Medina

They all should be tried for Treason!

  • raycathode

Be done with them. All of them.

  • justtryingtomakeit

In my opinion, that was only a small victory. That means that there are 46 senators that need to be voted out of office. This is too close of a margin for comfort. I notice all of these are democrats. Between Obama and the democraps (not a misspelling), that would sell our souls if given the chance.

    • Kimmy Kolkovich

      Your very right!

    • Trent

The democraps already sold their souls … judgment day’s a coming!

    • GladiatorJohn

you’re welcome to your opinion but you are NOT welcome to your own facts. This vote never happened in the UN. http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/02/02/141944/rand-paul-gun-conspiracy/

      • Chip Bresett

Boy you have completely surrendered to the leftist, progressive, Obama-Reid-Pelosi anti-American agenda. No one said the un had the vote, and American congressmen don’t vote in the UN anyway. The link you provided was from 2011.

This is the vote being talked about so ya they do vote ..

          The
treaty was finally signed by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in
September 2013, but the treaty still requires ratification by fifty U.N.
signatories before it goes into effect (so far only seven nations have
committed to that step), and it still requires approval by the U.S.
Senate before the United States commits to its terms.

What victory? Congress is so limited outside of the District of Columbia it makes a good punch line. They have no power outside of the constitutions within the States of the Union. Unless you are in Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, District of Columbia or some other federally “owned” land within it’s possessions and territories, it’s not your problem. Read 26CFR31.3121(e)-1; then read the Omni Bus Acts of Alaska and Hawaii and pay close attention to the definitions of the “United States” and “State”. It does not and never includes the Sates of the Union. First you people need to take back your voices and revoke your voter registrations and that’s just the start of it. Those U.N. Acts have never been valid outside of the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands (aka the United States). States of the Union are never included because all those Executive Orders, Rules, Regulations, Legislation, cryptic Codes are for the territories and possessions of the United States, not the States of the Union. So all those freaking out over this insanity of delusional politicians, relax until you volunteer for grand jury and start handing down indictments against them in your respective states. It’s quite simple, since congress rules over two distant and separate jurisdictions, you need to learn how to distinguish were the legislation is valid. In the the states of the union, it must conform with the constitution; in the states of the united states it must conform with whatever they say it does. Now, pay attention to the last question.

Are you standing on a State of the Union were Congress is limited in its actions and with full protection of the federal and state constitution; or are you claiming to stand on a federal enclave known commonly as a State of the United States subject to Congress without limitations nor constitutional protection from their tyrannical reign?

Hopefully Udall will be gone in December and Bennet next cycle

  • texexpatriate

Note that they are all Marxist Democrats except the admitted socialist, Sanders, and they are all traitors. Not only ought they be voted out, they ought to be charged with treason and hanged.

    • jayhill1947

put that on Pay per view!!! Dana White could make $$$$$$$$$$$ Make it like American Idol – except one traitor gets hung each episode – can’t wait – what day will that be on?????

  • Ryan Caspersen

i hate how liberal michigan is. i am vocal and i do not hide that i am conservative and pro gun all the way. and i hope Michiganders as much as we own guns here, the rest would wake up and vote our liberal losers out of Michigan office for a change. we replaced a lot of democrats the last election but i just hope more conservatives show up this time and vote levin and stabenow OUT. Levin isn’t running for reelection but i hope enough of us show up and replace him with a a strong conservative.

    • chasaragdy

We’re residents of Florida (28 years), but have a secondary residence here in Ludington, Michigan (owned for 38 years), which is great for Conservatives and Republicans here on the western coast. Once you get out of the urban areas of Detroit (from Saginaw down to the state line just north of Akron, Ohio), Lansing, Grand Rapids to a lesser extent, and the Jackson area, the remaining areas of Michigan are pretty moderate to conservative, especially Second Amendment (guns) and the First Amendment (religion)!

Levin is retiring–or electing to not run again due to his difficulties with his families lives of corruption and bribery–and the Republican candidate seems to have a decent chance of winning! Debbie Stabenow just squeaked into office her first run (I think) about 12 yto 14 years ago.

      • Ryan Caspersen

hopefully she will squeak out this coming November lol.

      • Jean Nelson

Get out and vote conservative if you want America back

      • http://www.randommusingsfrombeckysworld.com Becky

I believe Levins wife is running for his seat in the next elections though so there would be no real change if she wins, lets not let that happen

        • chasaragdy

          Becky:
If I’m not mistaken Senator Sander Levins wife has some on-going legal issues within a couple of her prior local, political positions. Of course with her star high in the sky around Detroit, she’ll be elected, probably easier than convicted and subsequently imprisoned ex-Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick, to fill the seat of her retiring husband.
Though I have a secondary residence here in Michigan, I am unable to vote here–being a non-resident–but I never hesitate to “bend the ear” of my many friends and neighbors.

  • G Nichols

Cantwell and Murray on the list……but that is no surprise. GET RID OF THEM!!!!! No good for Washington State and even worse for the USA!!!!

    • James Meeks

I see our Mary Landrieu is on the list. We here in Louisiana are fed up with this liberal and come Nov. we will vote her sorry tale out and replace her with a true conservative. Col. Rob Mannes is the one for Louisiana.

      • fvckwithmeanddie

You want to vote someone in who wants to govern by a book? Do us a favor and get your ass on a plane to Afghanistan…send your daughters too, I’m sure you’ll all enjoy the laws they have in place there. If you think conservatives are different, you’re a deluded fool and an embarrassment to democracy.

        • Michael Kiss

Democracy sucks. Our founding fathers despised democracy so the gave us a constitutional republic. Democracy is akin to two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner.

  • Bill Brown

Very interesting; two independents, rest are demorats.

    • George

Those Independents like some of my Republicans are no more than Democrats who also want to be elected for a career. A good example was Lincoln Chafee from RI who found himself without a Republican or Democrat slot so he became Independent.

    • chasaragdy

Actually the two (2) Independents caucus with the DemocRATs!! The Independent Bernie Sanders (VT) is so far Left the DemocRATS would not allow him to run as a Democrat when he first ran for the open Senate seat about six (6) or eight (8) years ago. I’m not familar with slant of ideology of King from Maine; I’m sure he’s not of the Republican persuasion though!

My one (1) DemocRAT Senator from Florida is Bill Nelson; he’s about as far left as Bernie Sanders is from Vermont. Hopefully we can get Nelson’s azzs out of office his next attempt at reelection; he’s been an embarrassment for Floridians for too damned many years!!

  • Terry Klein

Boxer and Feinstein, See Ya Later Ladies, You Both should have been voted Out along Fucking Time Ago!

    • kid721952

Don’t forget pelosi, valerie garrett and a few others

  • tinker_thinker

    All disgusting democrats!

  • Jill

The two senate traitors from my state both voted to give our rights to the U.N. One of them was a skipper for a submarine the other was a spoiled brat whose family has money from making jackets. I think this should go to every one who is on Facebook who believes in our constitution. “We the people…” not you the congress, you the congress work for us, they need to be reminded harshly that they are not in charge we are.

  • FrAdrian

This is a spurious story and the above article is nonsense. The Arms Trade Treaty obligates member states to monitor arms exports and ensure that weapons don’t cross existing arms embargoes or end up being used for human-rights abuses, including terrorism. Member states, with the assistance of the U.N., will put into place enforceable, standardized arms import and export regulations (much like those that already exist in the U.S.) and be expected to track the destination of exports to ensure they don’t end up in the wrong hands. Ideally, that means limiting the inflow of deadly weapons into places like Syria. The text of the treaty specifically “reaffirms the sovereign right and responsibility of any State to regulate and control transfers of conventional arms that take place exclusively within its territory, pursuant to its own legal or constitutional systems.” U.S. rights and laws regarding the sale and ownership of small arms would still apply within the United States. The Obama administration has stated that mandatory conditions for U.S. approval of such an arms trade treaty include the following: The Second Amendment to the Constitution must be upheld, there will be no restrictions on civilian possession or trade of firearms otherwise permitted by law or protected by the U.S. Constitution, there will be no dilution or diminishing of sovereign control over issues involving the private acquisition, ownership, or possession of firearms, which must remain matters of domestic law. The President of the United States cannot enact a “complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations.” The right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States, and in the 1957 case Reid v. Covert, the U.S. Supreme Court established that the Constitution supersedes international treaties ratified by the U.S. Senate. However, the measure voted upon was not the treaty itself, but a non-binding test amendment expressing opposition to the ATT which was tacked onto an unrelated congressional budget resolution. The record of the U.S. Senate Roll Call Vote confirms that all the senators who voted against the amendment were Democrats or independents. This was back in 2013.

    • Chip Bresett

The second amendment is already at risk and has been eroded by unconstitutional law. The treaty would supply gun buyer information, and make it impossible to import guns and ammunition. You need to come to the realization that Obama does not care about your rights, and will do anything he sees fit to do. One step at a time, progressivism has been patiently creeping for nearly 100 years.

      • FrAdrian

What federal laws enacted by this administration has endangered the 2nd amendment? Please be specific.

        • WInslow Thrill

If there was an unqualified answer to this question, the preppers would have to move on to, uh, FEMA camps, wasn’t it….

        • chasaragdy

Try Executive Orders, Champ! Ammonition–bullets–of certain types have been banned by executive orders recently; certain metals have been curtailed and the Federal government, FEMA, NOAA and DHS, has bought up about six (6) billion (with a capital “B”) rounds of hollow point bullets within the past four (4) years!!

These actions have taken place EVEN BEFORE your iconic messiah made his pledge about two (2) weeks ago that he still has his “phone and pen” that he will use to circumvent the Congress and the Constitution!!!

        • chasaragdy

        • Thomas Lee Vance

Specific?Any and all of them. The whole argument can be laid to rest by just 4 simple words.Just 4…..”….shall not be infringed.”.4 very simple, easy to understand words. That means, simply, any law would be an infringement.

          • Chip Bresett

Exactly my point Thomas. @fradrian, I never said the administration enacted any laws, but it wasn’t from lack of trying, and if 2010 hadn’t turned out the way it did, there certainly would be more. Why do you defend an anti-american progressive who has never done anything to help the American people, only to secure more votes and power to himself. You are cheering on your own imprisonment.

    • Frank Magistro

Obviously the Obama administration has never told any lies before, have they? If you trust the UN you have bigger problems than gun control. One of the worst charities to contribute to is the UNICEF. Only around 5% of collected donations make it to their destination while 95% are sucked up by “Administrative Costs”. Please don’t put it past the UN and the Obama admin to take advantage of any “executive order” or other such document to try to bind the free man.

    • chasaragdy

Anyone that believes ANYTHING barrysoetoro/barackhusseinosamaba has ever said, stated, sworn to, promised, pledged, especially if on his mother’s grave, whether they had their right hand on the Bible or on their copy of the Q’ran, IS insane, has alzheimers and dementia, needs a lobotomy, and must never be allowied into a voting booth!!

I’ll remain a gentleman, stay above the fray and nice enough to not get personal and call the person crazy and/or looney!

    • gthomson13

“The Obama administration has stated that mandatory conditions for U.S. approval os such an arms trade treaty include….” Ah yes, the ole Obama administration statements. My favorite: “If you like your insurance, you can keep it.” Second favorite: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” Of course, there’s the “My administration will cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term.” And then there is the promise by Obama to work “hand in hand” with the Congress to investigate the IRS scandal so that “it doesn’t happen again”. I could go on but suffice it to say, Obama administration words don’t hold much water these days. Mr. Putin knows that as does Syria’s Assad – remember the “Red Line”. FrAdrian – you’re a fool if you put any stock in what the Obama administration promises.

  • court-court

i like the demo”craps” term I may use that……….. You can borrow my Lib-“tards” if you like

  • chasaragdy

If you are Patriotic; believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights; gladly own a gun; joyfully practice your Religion–any time, any where; believe in Traditional Marriage, adamantly disagree with Common Core; believe in Capitalism…..you MUST vote Republican for your local, State and Federal candidates in November 2014 and November 2016!!

There is no other way–short of Anarchy and Revolution!

    • sharonhansen209

Or you can vote for a Libertarian! Even better than a Republican. Republicans cannot be trusted either. Does the name John McCain do anything for you?

      • jimmy

libertarians in reality have no chance in winning. Voting for a libertarian ins the same as voting for a democrat. I understand the reason but it just almost never works. Sadly we need to vote for a conservative Republican. There are a few of them out there. Check the internet for how they voted on the issues .

        • sharonhansen209

They do if people like you would vote for them. Many who complain don’t even vote. The last 100 years the Republicans and Democrats have pretty near destroyed this country. I don’t understand how anyone with half a brain can vote for either party. I certainly won’t. I can sleep at night if I vote Libertarian. Feels so good not to be a party to the lesser of two evils.

      • chasaragdy

The ONLY course to winning the PRESIDENCY–the Office of the WINNING Presidential Candidate–is 1) vote REPUBLICAN; or 2) vote democratic/liberal/progressive/communist/fascist/marist/leninist/Libertarian (they are all the same vote when their various political parties totals are added up–tallied, as in DemocRAT!!! There is no other solution when voting for the President. Even if ALL the election results, i.e., votes, of all the eligible political partiesexcept for the Republican and DemocRAT Parties–there would not be enough votes to elect an Independent Party candidate for President!!!

Numbnuts, do the fricking numbers!!! You want to vote Libertarian or Independent in your Local or state officials???? Fine, that’s okay with me. BUT, you’re dumb as a lake full of rocks when you vote Libertarian for President

        • sharonhansen209

What is really dumb is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. There are more registered Independents and Libertarians and other 3rd parties than there are Republican or Democrats according to the latest numbers I have seen. I don’t know if they are accurate but I hope they are. That means more people are waking up. Independents simply vote for the person they think will do the best job, party not important. Then again there is always the voter fraud that comes into play. Some don’t believe that our voting is even legitimate, that our presidents are picked for us and we only have the illusion of voting. I am not dumb. You don’t know me. I have done my research. I know how to find out who votes for what. Both the majority of Republicans and Democrats have voted for the NDAA and other unconstitutional “laws”. If they hadn’t, we wouldn’t have all these unconstitutional “laws” being passed. There are a handful of Republicans that have higher freedom ratings. If they are on my ballot and I have no other choice, I would vote for them, but if it is a choice between a low freedom rated Republican and a Libertarian, I will vote for the Libertarian. Voting for the lesser of two evils is not the solution. Anyone with any intelligence knows the Democrats are rotten to the core. So are MOST Republicans. See who donates to their campaigns. I will check very carefully everyone’s record before I vote and I will vote for the person with the highest freedom rating. Anything less than 90% isn’t acceptable. There is only one that I saw on the last report that has a 100% freedom rating. That is what they all should have. We are supposed to live in a free country but we really don’t. Both Bush’s were for the One World Order. Anyone who is for that is evil. Libertarians are the purest mindset and don’t believe in forcing anyone to do anything. We believe that everyone has the right to do whatever they want as long as they don’t harm another. It also depends on voter turnout. Many people aren’t even registered to vote because they think it makes no difference. That’s because the Republicans and Democrats are pretty much one and the same. If you enjoy picking on someone’s beliefs, pick on a Liberal. They are the ones most hurting our country. Libertarians have never had the opportunity because of people like you. There are a lot of people that think like you do. The Libertarian Party is growing in leaps and bounds this coming election cycle. Many realize that the Democrats and Republicans are one and the same – big money corporations that donate to their campaigns. The Republican party determines who will run on the Republican ticket, not the people. They are told who to vote for. I left because of that. The candidate for either party should be chosen by the people of that party, not the elites of that party. If you think there is nothing wrong with that, I feel sorry for you.

Resign or be impeached for failing to uphold their sworn duties.

  • sharonhansen209

I’m a Libertarian running against Dick Durbin in Illinois. Visit my campaign website and donate to get a strong 2nd amendment supporter elected. http://sharonhansenforussenate.org

    • chasaragdy

      Sharon,

Excuse my ignorance for asking the question: Assuming you win, which party in the United States Senate do you PROMISE to caucus with in the so-called “cloak room” and casting of your votes???????????????? DemocRAT, or Republican! There is NO other option for voting–except the Obama option of “Present”!!

  • jayhill1947

Why do they still have Mo Cowan (D-MA) still listed – he has been replace by the “Ice-cream boy” – Ed Mularkey. I love the way democrats are only allowed to vote the way “the undertaker” votes.

  • Jim Hise

Pin a target on the back of each of these demorat senators. Yeah, demorats. If these idiots want to give up our nation to the UN all should remember their names in their upcoming elections and vote them out of office. If any of these are your senator, you should recall him/her/it.

  • Jim Hise

Anyone notice how most of the 13 colonies have turned against the rest of the nation? I believe all who live in these small states think they are the deservided ones, Yes deservided! Oh then you have California the golden gay state.

  • MamaPenny

Has anyone bothered to read the resolution, I include the legislators in that question. The resolution is about the control of the illicit gun trade – so my own question about the source of this original post is who posted it? Arms traders? Read it here http://unscr.com/en/resolutions/2117
Selling the US down the river? Hardly!

    • SteveFoleyisaFearMongerer

no they all just read what they want to read and don’t bother to actually research. this resolution has NOTHING to do with gun rights in America but the author found one line, quoted it without any context and ran with it. if anything this is just more proof that the US needs to reinvest in education…

    • visibleunderwater

right! On page 22 it states specifically this does not have anything to do with “internal trade”, everyone is freaking out because they think “Member State” means individual US States, which in fact is referring to whatever nations that are part of the UN and also signatory on this particular treaty.

  • helpmespreadinfo

Someone said this never happened and this is a hoax. Can anyone provide a link that shows this vote happened. I would be much obliged so I can give these idiots “It’s a hoax!” something to chew on.

  • GladiatorJohn

I great victory on a fictitious issue. The UN Small Arms Treaty was never voted on. Go and check the UN website. http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/untreaty.asp

  • Wayne Neva

Happily, some of these named people are choosing not to run again in 2014. Carl Levin (MI) is planning to retire, I’m hoping his seat goes to the opposition. Michigan has seen Democrats in office for far to long. Some other Senate democrats are tired of “fighting with the Tea Party people”, I think the reality is that their homestates are not liking these people all that much.

  • Vin

@chip: you beat me to it! That article gladiator posted was about three years old. I also noticed he quieted down after that revelation… I’ll give an A for effort though.

  • jewels

Most who voted for this were on the east coast, and Dems. So people in the east need to wake up and notice that their rights are being taken away. As a law abiding citizen, and according to the constitution, you have the right to bear arms, to protect you and yours. Especially since most of your public officials are corrupt, and angry.

  • TheRon

This is in violation of their oath to uphold the constitution. In my book it is grounds for them to be tried for treason. Semper Fi my fellow Marines.

  • disgusted with politics

hmmm almost every one is a Democrat. I know one I’ll be voting against next election.

  • Andy Deuble

Democrats hold a majority in the Senate so who are the Democrats that voted against this UN garbage. They should be commended on using their own mind in voting against this rather than the collective brain used by the rest of the party. Sucks that I have to wait four more years to vote out that damn Independent-in-name-only-but-really-Democrat King here in Maine.

  • NakedJusticeLeague

Those 46 senators committed high treason. they should be dealt with accordingly.

  • Bev P

Vote them out…. keep our freedoms!!!!

  • Roger Curtis Foster

Notice they’re mostly Democrats and a couple of Independents. Not one Republican tried to sell us out.

  • jcalex

Based on the Fact that our votes are no longer ligit I say they should be escorted out by the very people they are trying to destroy, those being Americans.

  • Darren Auchnie

Why are you all obsessed with owning a gun? – If guns were illegal in America then you would get less shootings – common sense

    • grainger78

You would think but facts disagree. In cities like Chicago where gun ownership was almost totally illegal crime was very high. When conceal laws were implemented gun ownership went up and gun crime went down. Read all the stats you want: http://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp

    • Justin Craft

Definitely, same thing goes for drugs and prostitution. Just make them illegal there would be less…. wait… Common sense yes, but it doesn’t always work. (Some people don’t follow the laws)

      • Darren Auchnie

You will always get people who don’t follow the law but it is easier for them to get a gun just now than it would be if it was illegal.

        • Justin Craft

How do you figure? Do you think they go to do background checks to get their guns now? There will always be guns on the black market. Even in Europe and Russia where it is illegal, if they have the money and the means they will get one. Only difference is the ones who they go for will have no form of defense against them. As a police officer I can say it’s a very bad idea. Not only that, the police are not about to go into homes of law abiding citizens looking for guns. It will never happen here,

          • chasaragdy

            Justin,

The Germans of the 1930’s never thought “it” would happen to them!! By the end of January 1933 Hitler had his Brown Shirts, and to get rid of (since the majority of the members queers and homosexuals) the homosexual elements of the Brown Shirts, started the GESTAPO (the black shirts), and had the military and ALL law enforcement–even every government official– swear allegience TO HIM. Don’t kid yourself–it can most CERTAINLY AND DEFINITELY can happen here!!

If you think otherwise, you’re smoking the funny weed and have your head up the azzess!!

      • chasaragdy

        grainger78,

The gun laws were not “implemented” (as in, enacted) in (Illinois) Chicago! The courts struck down the anti-gun laws allowing precepts of the Constitution to be effective!

        Justin,

As to your comment that “…some people don’t follow the laws…”, we can start with the TWO most-top (presently unConstitutionally) POTUS and DOJ AG!!! Incidently, they are both of the Saul Alinsky, Cloward-Piven and Frank Marshall Davis, Progressive Socialist, Black Panthers and Muslim Brotherhood persuasions!

  • George W

You just don’t get it do you you dumb fuck! Your exporting small arms all over the fucking planet means that tens of thousands terrorists get armed! What about the hundreds of US children who are shot every year because of uncontrolled gun ownership?

    • chasaragdy

      George,

To use some of your (crude) vernacular, “…you dumb fuck!…”, guns DO NOT shoot people (as in “kill”)–people DO!! Guns are no more violent than a knife, a shive, a piece of metal, a butter knife or a fork. All thhose utensils are made from similar metals, provide many different uses and purposes–BUT they are all USELESS, unless someone picks them up and uses them for their expressly, intended purpose!!!!!

  • J R

The Dems have some of the worst politicians now that this nation has ever had to stomach. The states with this kind of representation are surely stupid if they send them back to DC

  • Ken Laurent

Why is reading comprehension such a widespread problem among gun enthusiasts?

  • Kindley

When will the democrats realize we owe our allegiance to the USA, not the UN which seldom has our best interests in mind. The irony is resolution 2117 will hurt all Americans who abide by the law, but will not affect the criminals. who will still get their guns. Democrats do not always have the best interests of the American people in mind.

  • dan

this what hilary clit did trying to get around the american people.so dont forget her name in this.

  • JSebastian

No treaty can contravene the Constitution though. Only an Amendment can change what is already the Supreme Law of the Land, and no law can be contrary to itself. SCOTUS case of Reid v Covert, 1957

    • chasaragdy

      JSebastian,

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When–and if–the United States Senate passes the UN Small Arms Agreement and it’s signed by the United States President, the Senate and President will be forfeiting the sovereignty of the US and invoking UN mandates to supercede the United States Constitution. Read the UN Small Arms Treaty for your enlightenment of lost protections. Additionally, the UN One World Order is even more severe. So is the Law of the Seas!!

The United Nations will never, ever enact any law for the benefit of the United States–ever, never!!

      • JSebastian

Right..I’m saying that would be unlawful. No treaty can contravene the Constitution. It cannot be amended except by the process laid out for amendments, and no law can be made that is contrary to the Constitution, nor is any contract or obligation that would require a violation of the Constitution by any person or party valid.

  • hogwild04

This is a noteworthy development, Reuters explains, because the arms agreement will “enter into force” (sound familiar?) when “50 countries have presented proof of ratification to the United Nations.” To date, 31 member nations have ratified the Arms Trade Treaty. http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/18018-another-day-another-step-toward-un-arms-treaty-enforcement?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=afe1971573-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-afe1971573-289800337

  • Lou

    Feinstein & Boxer… of course.

  • Dalton Mann

    imagine that all democraps!

  • visibleunderwater

you people are idiots. “Member States” are NOT in reference to individual US states, but to individual countries. No were in this document is any language involving ANY transactions that are INTERNAL to a “Member State”. The UN is “United Nations”, and the Member States are OTHER COUNTRIES. Unless your particluar state has left the Union, became an independent country, and THEN joined the UN…really, how much more explanation is needed? The UN deals with countries, not US “states” individually. This treaty is aimed at stopping weapons going into places where they will be used for genocide and has nothing to do with the US’s (or any other countries) internal weapon laws. In fact, on Page 22 it specifically states “the sovereign right of any State to regulate and control conventional arms exclusively within its territory”.

Did no one actually bother to read it? Seems that most people are just being manipulated into freaking out over something that doesn’t even exist, and the “going around and around” with propaganda and lies will not ever change the actual text of this treaty.

  • MacUndecided

What we need next is an Out 2 Get service which allows us to click on links next to names like the names above. Then we can log our out 2 get preferences with a service that will remember for us that we don’t like these politicians. Then when there are elections and there are candidates running for election against the people we’re out 2 get, we can get a list of the candidates competing against the people we want to get rid of and donate money to their campaigns. Ideally we can get references to the articles where we flagged the representatives for an out 2 get and remember why we did so. THAT would be a boon.

    • chasaragdy

      Mac,

Your idea(s) will not solve your problem. There is no Robot notification of your preferrential poloticians. Your might like a RINO politician with his/her vote today, tomorrow and the next day, but for the next three weeks you might not likie them. There might even be times you like the DemocRATic politican for a specific vote, but not like them other times. If you had Civics in the third or fourth grade you will know why educating yourself DAILY–every day–you cannot be an educated voter or constituent!

      • MacUndecided

Oh, that’s right and our current system of voting based on some vague notion of name recognition or some dim recollection of having shaken someone’s hand at some point is oh so much better. People who criticize ideas can help to refine ideas, but if you don’t originate ideas then you are not adding value.

  • Ginger

Notice that they are all Demoncrats and one Independent. Speaks loud and clear.

  • Leo Almeida

All 46 Senators who tried to sell us out to the UN were DEMOCRATS ! Each & Everyone of them !!!

  • whoman69

Propaganda. U.N. Resolution 2117 calls for Member States to support weapons collection, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants. You may now go back to your “They’re going to take our guns” rant, which is now in its 50th year.

  • fvckwithmeanddie

You knuckle draggers really are the worst of what America stands for. Seriously. Not even smart enough to see that the Right (as you call it) is far more damaging than the “Left”, you leave the argument up only to those of us who can actually comprehend standard written English. It is embarrassing living in a country whose citizens have knee jerk reactions to made up stories and automatically blame the other team for something that is complete and total bullshit. Do yourselves a favor: get an education. That way you can actually use that three pound gray matter inside your cranium. And before you boners start throwing out insults, I’m a gun toting “lib” as you call it, and I’ll defend your rights as staunchly as I defend my own provided you’re not an ignorant asshole.

    • chasaragdy

      meananddie,

Thanks for your conservative rant about owning a weapon and your gun rights. However, we Conservatives, when in a group and/or public oratory, tend to leave the rude, crude and slut language in the outhouse out back!! Please…”when in Rome…..” use your best behavior, which includes clear up and clean up your language usage!! It’ll be ‘ppreciated. All us’un educated folks of the Conservative persuasion tend to use “the king’s language” rather than the gutter type and style speakease!

    • Ron Smith

We are in the middle of a full on invasion from the southern border. I fail to see how voting to disarm Americans so they can be raped and tortured by the invaders is somehow a knuckle dragger thing. If you would like to volunteer to stand UNARMED between us and the invaders pouring in at a rate of about 2000 per week so far in 2014 – I would be very happy to let you do so.

but really, they weren’t voting against gun control they were voting to keep their own jobs. If this had passed the American public would dissolve and reform the new government faster than you can say buh bye!

  • bluecrane1

Fantastic, my senator voted against ignorant gun nuts too. Here’s hoping extremely stupid genetic mistakes that worship their precious gunzzzz find a country someplace else and get the hell out.

  • hearshoping

I agree this is way too close, cant anyone see though, this is going to be inevitable God has said that we will be destroyed His WILL, will be done. I know this is Scary, and it is VERY HARD NOT TO FOCUS ON….. I am just saying yes there is A LOT OF EVIL IN OUR COUNTRY. OBAMA IS THE MOST VILE PRESIDENT IN HISTORY, and we are probably AT THE WORST POINT OUR COUNTRY HAS SEEN. ALL WE CAN DO NOW IS JUST PRAY,,, FIGHT IF WE HAVE TO, BUT STILL, EITHER WAY GOD”S WILL BE DONE…. ARM UP THOUGH. LOVE YOU ALL WE WILL FIGHT EVIL TOGETHER GOD BLESS>

  • Marge Lippincott

casey ur done hope u r never in office again the ppl spoke u ignored

  • Convergence

It never happened, http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/untreaty.asp . What i suggest is when you find sites that put out fake articles like this, quit going to them. Following that logic, I need to quit listening to all news networks too.

  • kid721952

Why doesn’t it surprise me they are ALL DEMOCRATS except one,an independent, democrats would love to sell out America to the “NEW WORLD ORDER” for their OWN PERSONNEL GAIN and the hell with the rest of us civilians

  • Lockmazter

Senator Bob Casey, I’m coming for you! I’ve just made it my priority to spread the word far and wide that you are a sell-out! You would have us surrender our second amendment rights to a foreign body that seeks to disarm us and control us from Brussels, Belgium? That and your “progressive stance” on immigration reform shows that you DO NOT represent the people of Pennsylvania! It’s time we sent you packing!!! I’m now on a mission to actively campaign against your re-election. On the web, in the VFW, the American Legion and in the streets! YOU ARE A TRAITOR!

  • t_rat_67

WELL KING WILL BE OUT IN MAINE IFIN THE PEOPLES SEE THIS AND WHAT HE VOTE FOR…. GUNS ARE A VERY INPORTANT PART OF THE MAINE PEOPLE ALMOST EVERY MAINER HAS AT LEAST 3 GUNS IN THERE HOME,,, ITS BIG BUSSINESS HERE PEOPLE DEPEND ON GUNS HERE FOR A LIVING BECAUSE ITS ONE OF THE BEST STATES FOR HUNTTING

  • Konrad Ford

    All Democrats….not surprised.

  • Sovereign American Man

Those resolutions have nothing to do with the 2nd AMD; and since you can not amend the Bill of Rights, those resolutions are only valid in puerto rico and the u.s. virgin islands. resolutions have no effect within the States of the Unions. Read the Alaskan and Hawaiian Omnibus Acts and you’ll see how it works, and were it doesn’t.

  • Steve R

Hey y’all….Canadian here…just have to say that some of you sound like gang members waiting for the cops…It’s scary to hear people equating theirs souls to their guns….you people really think you have nothing left without your guns!?….NO SOUL!? LOST LOST LOST in an angry world you are. Join the forces if you really want to shoot automatic weapons…they DON’T BELONG IN PEOPLES HOUSES!!!!!!! This isn’t planet “war”… it’s planet earth.

  • Boni Biggun

Not that it’s not an outright useless endeavor, to talk “politics” in this current situation, BUT it is a beyond moot point. The USAcorp is already a CAPTURED OPERATION!

Every read major Jordan’s dairy((or Carroll Quigley’s Tragedy & Hope?)) There are no sides! All nations are controlled by luciferian bankers. As well as industry, news, military, academic add naseum

The USA turned into a Corporation in 1871, under The Washington DC Act. These same bankers took control of the money supply in 1913 under puppet president wilson. The USAcorp went into CONTINUAL EMERGENCY BANKRUPTCY POWERS IN 1933! Under the terms of creating the United Nations, the USAcorp gave all sovereignty unto INTERNATIONAL INTERESTS! The Patriot Acts & NDAA already are GUN CONFISCATION ON THE BOOKS! They allow for confiscation of ALL PROPERTY, POSSESSIONS, PEOPLE under a declared martial law scenario! I’m living in crazy town, where no one apparently has any clue of what has happened, is happening & is about to happen!

  • Keith Hødges

How are Boxer and Feinstein still around?? Oh yeah, because CA voters have no clue. Look at Brown….
